We have been working with Action on Addiction - a national charity helping to save lives, build communities of recovery and support families living with addiction in their lives - for over a year.
It's all about taking action.
This wonderful charity, with HRH The Duchess of Cambridge as their Patron, funds research and works to tackle stigma. We have been working with the team at Action on Addiction on several projects over the last year. Most recently, we have worked with them on the marketing of Clouds House - a world-leading addictions treatment centre in Wilshire. We have created several PR assignments that have led to worldwide press coverage and TV features, an influencer engagement programme and the implementation of a content marketing strategy for the charity.
Challenging the public's stigma towards addiction.
We have also been busy working on a national anti-stigma campaign due to launch in spring 2021. This campaign will aim to change attitudes and behaviours towards addiction and help start a meaningful conversation about addiction in all its forms.
Earlier this month, a study shed light on alcohol drinking behaviour among pregnant women in the UK. The study found that 75% of women have drunk alcohol during their pregnancy which to many might sound alarming but we couldn’t help but investigate further and looked more closely at the figures to find out more about the trends in data.
